Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse on the Telemetry Unit is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive and continuous monitoring and care to patients with cardiac and/or other medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring. The RN utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The RN interprets cardiac rhythms, identifies changes in patient condition, and responds appropriately, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The RN also provides education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

We require:

  • Current WA State RN license is required.
  • 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients. 
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements
