Responsibilities

This individual will be data-driven and skilled at thinking big for the long term and delivering measurable business results in the short term. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • The Manager IT Ops will oversee the day-to-day operations of IT services for one of more Dignity Health facilities (acute and/or ambulatory). The Manager IT Ops will also represent the Director IT ("'IT Site Director") in various meetings, functions, and teams at the direction of the Director IT.
  • Supervises staff including prioritizing and assigning work; assisting in the conducting of performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Serves as a liaison with internal departments, executives, external organizations and public representatives. Represents the organization at a variety of meetings, public events, on committees, and/or other related events regarding services, programs, projects and facilities.
  • Prepares, reviews, interprets, and analyzes a variety of information, data, and reports. Recommends and implements tactical procedures to improve operational effectiveness and enhancements to services or programs.
  • Remote eligible.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related business areas or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in business relationship management, strategy and roadmap development.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant technical and business experience required; Minimum of three (3) years Information Technology Leadership
  • Experience required; Experience supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels required. Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT project(s) on time and within budget required.
