Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds, 48 licensed critical care beds, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. As our Radiology Nurse at Bakersfield Memorial, you’ll be expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is responsible to support the Nurse Manager of the unit to manage and coordinate clinical operations in order to provide quality direct patient care to the pediatric, adult and geriatric population. Ensures all aspects of documentation, care planning and patient care delivery to meet regulatory requirements. Responsible for fostering a positive interactive team milieu. Facilitates optimal environment to support orientation and competency validation.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA RN, BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• 1-2 years of previous experience required 
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
• PICC training program within 6 months of hire and maintain competencies
  
• Basic Computer Skills

Preferred Skills:

• Acute care experience preferred.
• BSN preferred
