The practice of radiation therapy is performed by health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating disease, primarily cancer. This position is responsible for assisting in localizing tumors, participates in treatment planning, prociency in many modalities, on -call status, and delivering high doses of ionizing radiation treatment to patients in accordance with prescription and instructions from Radiation Oncologists under direction of the Manager of Radiation Oncology.
MINIMUM
Successful completion of an accredited education program in radiation therapy
Certicate in Radiation Therapy
ARRT registered certification
AZ State Licensure MRTBE
PREFERRED
Associates of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy
