Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. Manages the operations for maintenance, repair and improvement of physical systems and equipment, vendor relations, and cost control of a facility and/or campus in a healthcare environment.  Demonstrates knowledge of major systems and operations: boilers, HVAC, medical gas systems, mechanical-electrical systems energy management systems, code compliance and enforcement, blue print and construction documents.  Managing and directing operations management for maintenance, repair and improvement of physical systems and equipment, vendor relations, and cost control.  Keeps knowledge and ensures compliance on rules, regulations, licensure, accreditation and laws applicable to hospital and department operations.  Manages and coaches others to achieve optimal performance which includes delegation; performance management, defines clear roles and responsibilities, and adjusts plans as necessary.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years plant operations/facilities experience or a related field.
• Associates degree and/or combination of education and managerial experience in a related field in lieu of the degree required.
