About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Clinic team! As a Clinic LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the supervision of the clinic physician. You will utilize your specialized knowledge and nursing skills to ensure our patients receive the best possible care in accordance with St. Vincent Health System's mission, core values, clinic policies, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general patient care, demonstrating appropriate knowledge and skills across the age continuum.
  • Assist the physician in patient evaluation, accurately recording subjective information and vital signs.
  • Administer and document medications, therapies, and treatments according to clinic policy.
  • Assist with patient care as directed, implementing therapies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
  • Educate patients and their families, assisting the physician in providing clear and understandable information.
  • Maintain medical equipment and order supplies.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, Infection Control, and Fire and Safety.
  • Serve as a preceptor and role model for new employees and students.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current and valid Arkansas LPN license (LPN:AR).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) certification (obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Ability to identify scope of practice issues and prioritize duties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds occasionally.
