The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor oversees the operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including areas such as nuclear medicine, MRI, and radiology, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. They assist in developing policies, protocols, and procedures aimed at measuring and enhancing the quality of diagnostic imaging services across departments while also working to improve the overall patient experience. This role includes supervising personnel through performance management, selecting and training qualified staff, and fostering effective communication. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for maintaining the safety of diagnostic imaging equipment and ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and the public.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing a variety of imaging examinations
Minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience
Education
Graduate of an accredited imaging program required
Licensure
Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure (may require state-specific fluoroscopy license)
If no applicable state licensure is offered, registration in a national modality (ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS) is required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
