Overview

The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital.  

Responsibilities

Oversees a variety of clerical office functions and interacting at all levels of the organization including visitors, vendors, physicians and staff. Provides administrative support for the department, the managers and supervisors who oversee staff in the department.

 

Greets and directs all visitors, vendors, physicians and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor

Provides clerical support including answering telephones, greeting clients and visitors, making appointments and referrals, typing, filing, and routing mail.

Coordination of department communications (i.e. distribution list administration, department meeting minutes)
Orders and maintains inventory of office supplies for the department.

Provides information to staff

Manages calendar or multiple calendars, handles travel arrangements as necessary

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

*High School Diploma/GED

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
Must be able to positively interact with a very large constituency of high visibility and importance to the decision making process
Must be self‐motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignment
Must be a team player
Must have excellent customer service skills with outstanding follow‐up
Strong interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
Must have exceptional proficiency in composing written communications, expert proofreading and editing skills
Advanced Google Suite competency
