Responsibilities

Under the general guidance of the Rehabilitation Services Program Director, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) II administers patient evaluations, plans and implements patient treatment proficiently for all assigned patient diagnoses. The SLP II demonstrates sound judgment in clinical decision making, demonstrates effective verbal and written communication; and accurate and timely documentation skills, and seeks guidance and supervision of Clinical Supervisor appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience as a Speech Pathologist working in a clinical setting with adult population, preferably rehabilitation.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Disorders from ASHA accredited university program. 
  • Current California Speech Pathology license or eligible for same, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • BLS
  • MBSIMP training preferred
