Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure, which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient’s chest.
Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. POSITION SUMMARY:

In conjunction with the Radiology Director and Radiology Manager, performs coordinating functions and advanced technical work in the Nuclear Medicine Imaging section of the Radiology Department. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department, and regulatory compliance. May be requested to perform duties in Diagnostic Radiology, C.T. or Ultrasound, if applicable. Provides Radiology services for all ages.

REQUIRED:

• Four (4) years of successful nuclear medicine technology practice.
• Graduate from an AMA approved program Nuclear Medicine Technology (minimum 1 year) or equivalent qualifications.
• Current BLS certification
• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB), OR (N) ARRT; American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.)
• Current certification CA Nuclear Medical Technologist

PREFERRED:

• One year of supervisory experience
• B.S. degree
