In keeping with the MPORC philosophy, prepares and maintains treatment areas in a clean and organized state ofreadiness for patient treatment. Under the direct supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Certified Occupational therapist Assistant, assists with patient treatment related activities consistent with his/her abilities and experience for patients of all ages. Performs such typical distinguishing duties as: Greets and escorts patients into the department and to the proper treatment area, assisting them as necessary; ensures that all treatment areas are clean, safe, well stocked and ready for patient treatment; does ongoing inventory of supplies and assures that they are always available by ordering as necessary; under the direct supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Certified Occupational therapist Assistant assists with patient treatment related activities consistent with his/her abilities and experience. Performs other related duties such as: Participates in all agency functions and activities as required, including inservice education, clerical and other tasks relevant to effective agency function as necessary. Performs delegated phases of physical or occupational therapy treatment and documentation; performs other tasks as assigned related to quality of care and effective department function. Ensures a clean and safe work environment by being alert for unsafe conditions and malfunctioning equipment and using appropriate procedures for their correction; Assists the Therapy Supervisor with Q.I. as required. Performs other related duties such as: Participates in all departmental functions and activities as required, including inservice education, clerical and other tasks relevant to effective department function as necessary.
