Job Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible for direct and indirect delivery of patient care for a wide variety of patient population through the use of the nursing process and maintenance of the standards of professional nursing practice. The Registered Nurse promotes compliance and support of policies and achieves trust in professional collegial relationships. Applies CHW Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship and Excellence.

 

As our Rehabilitation Nurse, you will help high-acuity patients restore their health so they can care for themselves at home and resume their lives with family.

 

Every day you will utilize a wide variety of nursing skills and provide comprehensive patient and family education. You will be expected to advocate for patient needs, deliver tailored care, and embrace a dynamic, non-routine environment.

 

To be successful in this role, you must possess a wide range of nursing skills, an upbeat demeanor, and a commitment to patient advocacy.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Six (6) months of current medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting or specialty area experience
  • New grads will be considered on a case by case basis
  • California Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPR BLS) within 30 days of employment
  • Current AHA ACLS certification (CT ACLS) within 30 days of employment

Preferred

  • Certified Rehabilitation RN  CCRN
