Birth Registration Coordinator

Process birth certificates, log newborn screening results, process paternity forms, bills paternity and makes invoices for charges, answers/processes telephone calls, interview mothers for information on the birth certificates.

• Experience working in Hospital Environment.
• Preferred AA degree or equivalent.
• Preferred typing speed of 40 wpm required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and working knowledge of Outlook.
• Ability to make decisions and work independently.
• Bilingual (Spanish) to be able to help the p/p unit with patient translation preferred.
• Also be able to do birth certificate whenever necessary.
• Have excellent communication and clerical skills required and writing ability essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
