PRN Weekend Requirements
The Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms and identification of any changes. Candidate must have critical thinking skills and able to past the basic EKG waveform interpretation exam prior to being hired. After which the candidate must attend and complete the telemetry monitor tech class post 3 months of employment. The Tele/EKG tech must continue education on tele/EKG interpretation via 3 levels of learning sessions skills. The TELEMETRY/EKG tech job is critical and requires the ability to have critical thinking skill.
