Responsibilities:

• Applies ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accurately documents details of treatment procedures and maintains daily treatment records.
• Performs daily and periodic quality assurance equipment checks and related tasks. Participate in weekly chart rounds.
• Administer therapy treatments in the delivery of a planned course of treatment to adult patients.
• Simulates a course of treatment by defining and identifying tumor volume, target volume and treatment volume as directed and prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Construct and/or prepare immobilization devices, beam directional devices and treatment accessories which facilitate treatment delivery.

Required Education & Experience:

• Associates Degree in Radiation Therapy
• ARRT in Radiation Therapy, TX Licensure
• CPR Certified
• Knowledge of Linear Accelarator & CT Simulator Operations
