Responsibilities

 

Position Summary

 

The Cath Lab Imaging Technologist III is a professional with advanced training in

cardiovascular/interventional and special procedures. 

The Cath Lab Imaging Technologist III is under the general direction of the Director/Supervisor, shall perform professional functions involved in a variety

of technical aspects.

Qualifications

Minimum

 

  • Must possess and maintain a current national registry certificate (ARRT). 
  • Must possess and maintain a current Fluoroscopy certification. 
  • Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS). 
  • Must possess and maintain a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate (ACLS). 
  • Must possess and maintain a current California radiography certificate (CRT).
  • A minimum of 5 years advanced training as a Cath Lab Technologist required.
  • Associate's Degree required. 
  • Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
  • Excellent communications skills, advanced knowledge of interventional cardiac,
  • peripheral, and endovascular related procedures. 
  • Time management, scheduling staff effectively. 
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to communicate effectively with nursing and technical staff.
  • Able to lead, direct staff, in a fast pace sometimes stressful environment.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Current RCVT certification. 
  • Current RCIS certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

 

 

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
