Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds, 48 licensed critical care beds, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. Position Summary:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of each assigned patient. Provide direct patient care. Supervise the activities of nursing staff members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CA RN, BLS and ACLS required.
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
• Experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing required.
• Completion of Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) course within the first year.
• Hemodynamic and ECG monitors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
