Responsibilities

Position Summary:
 
Incumbent provides optimum individual patient care by being efficient and knowledgeable in all routine x-ray procedures done in the radiology department. The incumbent will perform all routine diagnostic x- ray procedures and be proficient in at least one additional modality.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a JCERT accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
  • Current registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (employees hired prior to 2015 and are currently without the required ARRT certification are not required to obtain the certification)
  • BLS required (Must be through the American Heart Association
  • Fluoroscopy Certificate required within six months of hire into position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years acute care experience preferred

(Note: CA Mammography certification is also required for any positions that included clinical duties within the mammography department)
