About This Position
This Registered Nurse position will provide care for patients at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California. This position requires managing patient care using the nursing process. In addition, the candidate will also be required to coordinate the plan of care with the other members of the health care team. Responsibilities of the registered nurse include leadership responsibilities for unit personnel, preparing and assisting with other personnel duties, completing unit competency assessments, maintaining CPR and renewal of licenses with continuing education units, and other duties assigned by the management team.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate ability to work in a team setting. Candidates should have proficiency in basic nursing skills, knowledge of the nursing process, the ability to demonstrate this knowledge, a caring and compassionate attitude toward others, organizational and prioritization skills, and clear and effective communication skills. Candidates should be willing to participate in process improvement activities, possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, react calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, and should have the ability to provide leadership and guidance with the patient care team.
