Responsibilities

As our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CHI St. Vincent, you will help our patients receive compassionate and effective care so they can achieve optimal health outcomes.

 

Every day you will administer medication, provide wound care, and assist with patient assessments. You will be expected to deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid LPN license in the state of Arkansas, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and possess a genuine passion for patient care.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to the registered nurse.
  • Assist with patient assessments, admissions, and discharges to ensure thorough and accurate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care plans and maintain patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas 
  • 6 months of acute care experience is preferred
  • Previous Behavioral Health experience preferred
  • BLS through the American Heart Association is required
