Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Plumber to join our team. Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and modification of a wide range of plumbing systems. These include systems that deliver natural gas, medical air, oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, vacuum, water, steam, sanitary, and fire protection services. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to failures in sanitary and plumbing systems with Code compliancy. Utilizes knowledge of medical gasses, plumbing and sanitary systems to help resolve issues and safely isolates, repairs, and restores to normal conditions. Knowledge of sanitary waste system components and identifies failures.
  • Troubleshoots disruptions in the potable water systems and applies effective remedies with Code compliance. With the ability to identify supply distribution issues as they relate to loss of system pressure or service and maintains system components as required by Plumbing Code.
  • Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment utilized in the production of medical air and vacuum. Troubleshoots and repairs failed system components. Responds to and restores failures of equipment and system components as well as maintaining alarming devises
  • Repairs and maintains fire suppression systems and all of its components. Knowledge of various systems throughout the facility.
  • Performs assigned tasks with high quality workmanship by performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Completes assigned tasks and communicates properly utilizing verbal and written skills

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical school graduate with courses in plumbing, blueprint interpretation and shop math.

 

Preferred:

  • Plumbing License
