Performs,Echocardiogram procedure's including Transthorasic Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiograms with Cardiologist, Stress Echocardiogram's with Cardiologist. Complete's Echocardiogram reports on Heartlab and process's finalized Echocardiogram reports for Medical billing. Performs Echocardiograms requiring independent judgement and Initiative. Participates with ICAEL accreditation and QA. The Technologist will assist with a teaching environment with students and new employee's.
High school diploma/GED required and completion of Echocardiography program
One year experience required
CCI Cardiovascular Credentialling International or Registry eligible as a RDCS in Adult Echocardiography
CCI or eligible Sonographer must attain Registry with ARDMS within 1 year
Completion of Echocardiogram program preferred
ARDMS Ultrasound certification
