Under the direction of the Management Team and Medical Director, performs all MRI procedures in accordance with department protocols following established safety guidelines associated with the MRI environment.

• Perform all MRI procedures according to department protocol.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Code correct ICD-10 Codes and CPT Codes on requisitions and order slips.
• Retriever pertinent patient information from Electronic Health Record Systems.
• Applies safety precautions and principles to patient care. Includes all applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
• Identify and report maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and safety problems. Troubleshoot equipment problems and assist with resolutions.
• Participates in unit, service line and CommonSpirit Health (CSH) Quality initiatives. Includes Patient Satisfaction, Throughput Initiatives, and departmental Core Measures.
• Communicates clearly and effectively using proper communication etiquette. Uses medical terminology accurately. Includes reporting abnormal or change in patient condition to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Minimum:

• 1 year of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Must possess and maintain a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registered Technologist License (RTR) credential through ARRT
• Must be registered with the ARRT
• Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) we accept American Heart Association
• IV Certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer
• Graduate of an accredited program
