We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. National Nurse Residency Program / New Grad RN Residency Program
Our National Nurse Residency Program is a 52 week program designed to provide our new grads with superior peer and leadership support along with a comprehensive education experience. During the first 18 weeks, the Nurse Resident is paired with a preceptor for shifts on their unit and will complete online learning modules, in person lectures, and out rotations to other units. During week 19-52 the Resident is on their own, working their shifts in their department and will continue with online learning, in person lectures, a mentor program and an Evidence Based Project (implementation of the project is not required).
Mercy San Juan Medical Center has three (3) Critical Care units which will hire into full time night positions.

In-person interview for internals: 7/17/25 and 7/18/25
In-person interview for externals: 1st week in August ’25
