Nutrition Assistant II - Nutrition Services 

 

Do you have a passion for helping others achieve their health goals? Are you a friendly and communicative individual with strong computer skills? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nutrition Assistant II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service:

  • Greet patients warmly, answer questions, and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.

  • Assist with patient intake: Gather patient information, including dietary history and health concerns.

  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records 

  • Utilize our electronic health record system to efficiently manage patient data and appointments.

  • Prepare and maintain patient education materials:

  • Create and distribute materials on nutrition topics, recipes, and meal-planning strategies.

  • Collaborate with registered dietitians:

  • Assist with data entry, meal planning, and other tasks as assigned.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years food service experience.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Fire Safety card within 90 days of employment

 This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
