Responsibilities:

• The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the MRI section, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA), with a secondary emphasis on performing routine radiographic imaging studies
• Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts
• Assist radiologist with procedure. Administer contrast media as directed and per protocol
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately.

Required Education & Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Radiology
• Completed an accredited Radiology ir MRI program

Required Certifications:

• RTCT or RTMR or ARMRIT or RTR
• BLS-CPR within 14 days
• MRAD:TX
