As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of our patient care, utilizing your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. You'll play a critical role in:

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Monitoring patients' physical and emotional well-being, administering medications with precision and care, and providing comfort and support.
  • Education and Empowerment: Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their health journey.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Clinical Excellence: Applying your clinical knowledge and skills to ensure the highest standards of care are met, contributing to a positive and healing environment for our patients.

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with current California license required
  • Minimum 1 year acute care registered nursing experience in Psychiatry preferred
  • Current AHA BLS required
  • Current certification in psychiatric nursing or alcohol and drug abuse counseling and Management of Assaultive Behavior training preferred

This position is represented by SEIU L121RN and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement
