Responsibilities:

• Provides diagnostic test to individuals in all age categories including geriatric, adult, and adolescents to aid in diagnosing disease processes
• Performs duties in accordance with that of hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines
• Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and effective communication with physicians, staff and patients
• Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test
• Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions

Required Education & Experience:

• Degree from accredited Echocardiography Program
• (3) Three years of patient care work experience

Required Licensure:

• BLS-CPR
