Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

The Medical / Surgical / Trauma ICU DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. We are committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction. Serving the critical care adult population, each "dedicated" unit consists of 8-beds and offers an exciting, challenging opportunity for nurses to care for the very highest acuity patients in a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse to patient ratio. All units report to one Nurse Manager; nurses are hired specifically for each unit yet have an opportunity to cross train.

· ACS Accredited Level 1 Trauma Center

· Medical, Surgical, Trauma ICU
· Certified to perform Kidney Transplants
· National Leader in the care of Pulmonary Hypertension patients
