Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds, 48 licensed critical care beds, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CA RN, BLS, and ACLS required. 
• PALS must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• 2 years critical care experience
• ABLS required within the first year of employment
• New Grads must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN preferred.
• 2 years Acute Burn care experience 
• NIH Stroke certification preferred.
