Responsibilities

In Central Minnesota, you’ll find quality health care as near to you as CHI St. Gabriel’s Health in Little Falls, part of CommonSpirit Health. We’ve been serving this area since 1892 and we have the equipment, experience, and expertise to offer you a full range of the latest health services.

 

The Lab Assistant will: 

  • Performs blood collection and specimen processing.
  • Assist with clerical duties as requested.
  • May perform waived or mod complex testing,  if appropriate for the department organization.
  • Provide instruction for collection of non-blood samples. i.e. stool, urine, FIT, etc.
  • Works primarily in the lab specimen processing/intake department of the lab.

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED

 

Preferred

Phlebotomy program certificate

Lab Assistant Program certification
