Responsibilities

Lead a High-Performing Surgical Team & Elevate Patient Care!

 

Are you an experienced and passionate OR leader ready to take your career to the next level? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can lead a team, optimize operations, and make a real impact on patient outcomes? If so, we invite you to join our surgical team as an OR Manager!

 

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of our Operating Room, ensuring efficient and safe operations, exceptional patient care, and a positive and collaborative work environment for our talented team of surgical professionals.

 

Lead & Empower: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of nurses, surgical technicians, and support staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning.

 

Optimize OR Efficiency: Streamline OR scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow processes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.

 

Champion Patient Safety & Quality: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Promote a culture of safety and accountability.

 

Manage Resources Wisely: Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring responsible resource allocation and cost-effective operations.

 

Collaborate & Communicate Effectively: Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and clear communication.

 

Drive Innovation & Problem-Solve: Proactively identify and address operational challenges, implement innovative solutions, and stay abreast of the latest advancements in surgical care.

 

Elevate Patient Experience: Champion a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience for every patient.

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.  BSN or Bachelors’ Degree in a related field is preferred. Three years’ experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty.  Two years in a charge nurse/ leadership or equivalent position required.  Clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse in the same or similar clinical specialty preferred.  

Licensure/Certification

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.  
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
