Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved. Mercy General is home to the nationally ranked Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Institute. Key achievements and recognitions include: from the Joint Commission; Advanced Joint Replacement, Spine Center of Excellence Primary Stroke Center, Ventricular Assist Device, and Chest Pain Certification. Responsibilities

The incumbent demonstrates competency in occupational therapy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as applicable for the site/level of care of employment. the incumbent provides patient
assessment, develops and implements individual patient treatment programs, provides therapeutic interventions utilizing current and effective methodologies, and maintains effective documentation.

 

**Position is primarily Inpatient but is required to float to ARU as needed.**

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Current state licensure as an occupational therapist. Will consider license applicant. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) certification for Health Care Provider.
