As a Medical-Surgical Nurse at St. Francis Hospital, you will be responsible for providing holistic nursing care to a diverse patient population. Your duties will include, but are not limited to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. Monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and reporting changes in patient condition. Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educating patients and their families about their care and discharge planning. Maintaining a safe and clean patient environment. Utilizing electronic health records (EHR) effectively. Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
