Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the coordination of daily clinical operations.
    • Responsible for regulatory compliance and maintains a safe work environment which matches appropriate resources to appropriate patient care tasks.
    • Responsible for maintaining patient focused care as measured by patient satisfaction survey.
    • Responsible for assuring all clinical personnel is working within their scope of practice.
    • Demonstrates a high level of clinical competence in providing leadership in coordination of care.
    • Directs a team to assist with procedures monitors patients and provides appropriate follow-up care.
    • Coordinates the care of patients through appropriate triage. Coordinates open access, test verification and follow-up systems, referrals and appropriate documentation.
    • Collaborates with staff, families, residents and physicians regarding patient's needs and actively participates in process improvement. Develops and monitors patient education materials.
    • Assists Medical Director and Manager to improve clinical efficiencies by enhances customer service and implementing employee retention strategies.
    • Serves as the liaison between hospital and clinic nursing.
    • Assists Manager and Medical Director to understand the revenue cycle by actively participating in revenue enhancement strategies, including understanding coding.
    • Initiates and follows through on actions/ tasks such as adhering to program criteria, initiating problem solving assessments, seeking assistance and evaluating outcomes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

  • Associates Degree, Completion of RN Program
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience 
  • Arizona Registered Nursing License (RN) 
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) 

PREFERRED

  • BSN
  • Oncology experience 
  • Office or clinic experience
