Responsibilities

As our Electronics Tech at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, you will help maintain and service critical electronic systems and equipment so that hospital operations remain safe, accurate, and efficient.

 

Every day, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of electronic devices and infrastructure. You will be expected to read schematics, isolate and replace defective components, and communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding equipment issues and repairs.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical skills in both analog and digital electronics, familiarity with diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and logic probes, and a commitment to high-quality, detail-oriented work.

 

  • Diagnose and repair electronic systems using schematics and test instruments
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain hospital electronic equipment and control systems
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work orders, system changes, and repairs
  • Communicate clearly with hospital staff regarding equipment status and issues
  • Stay current with evolving technology and improve skills through self-development
  • Ensure work meets safety, code, and quality standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a two-year electronics school or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience servicing component-level electronic circuits
  • Working knowledge of voltmeters, oscilloscopes, logic probes, and other tools
  • Strong ability to read analog and digital schematics
  • Valid Arkansas driver’s license required upon hire
