Overview

As a Workers Comp Coordinator  at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, Workers' Compensation Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the workers' compensation program, including timely reporting of workers' compensation claims.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide internal communication and education to all levels of staff, including leaders, as needed
  • Direct employees for medical treatment, as allowed by state law
  • Maintain regular communication with injured employees in order to advocate and provide employment status information
  • Report claims to TPA
  • Coordinate claim investigation with supervisors, injured employees, witnesses and others to assure appropriate loss prevention mitigation or safety corrections occur

Qualifications

  • Unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas 
  • BSN Required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association is required 
  • 5 years of experience in workers comp / HR required
