Responsibilities

The Accounting Clerk serves as a control clerk for the Accounting Department. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing various clerical duties for the Department Director. This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from multiple transactions or reports and/or files containing bulk transactional information containing unencrypted or un-redacted credit card information.  Managing grant receivables, etc. Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace software applications, with ability to create, update and manipulate documents and spreadsheets
  • High School graduate.
  • Experience with 10-key by touch
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in addition to strong abililty to work with numbers & calculations
  • Previoius experience working in an accounting office environment preferred.
