Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the Sterile Processing Technician will provide the hospital and affiliated facilities with purchased and reprocessed materials and equipment ensuring a quality product for patient care by following established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and distribution.

• Three or more years Sterile Processing knowledge of surgical instrumentation. To perform successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Certified Central Service Tech certification required (CRCST)

• Fire Safety Certification

• High school graduate preferred.
