Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols.
  • Delivers patient care for all age groups while in performing exams/procedures.
  • Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements
  • Performs incidental general office duties to include, but not limited to answering phones, inventory/stocking of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, and one year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training; OR
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology

License/Certification

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS), with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in the state of Washington, OR
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and State of Washington Certification
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • ACLS certification required
  • Cardiovascular Technologist Cert: Must possess Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Cardiovascular Technologist Non-Registered: Employees who do not have RCIS (but otherwise meet the qualifications for the core job) must be assigned to this level, and they have six months from date of hire to obtain it.
