You'll work under the supervision of our Director of Nursing, collaborating to plan, oversee, and evaluate comprehensive patient care.

As a Med-Surg RN, You Will:

  • Lead Patient Care: Apply the full Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring adherence to the State Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
  • Assess & Observe: Collect, record, and report critical patient assessment data, skillfully identifying signs and symptoms of deviations from normal health status to inform nursing diagnoses.
  • Collaborate & Delegate: Function as a key team member, effectively communicating patient status, and assigning or delegating nursing care components to other healthcare team members.
  • Document & Educate: Meticulously document nursing interventions and patient responses to care, and actively participate in patient teaching.
  • Utilize Expertise: Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and ability in performing all essential unit skills.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

 

Licensure:  Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.  Graduate Nurse (G. N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.


Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
