Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist is responsible for obtaining quality invasive diagnostic data during all studies performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory on inpatients and outpatients ranging from adult to geriatric age. Qualifications

Required:

  • Must have 2 years’ experience in invasive vascular procedures.
  • 2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field.
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association approved school for Radiologist Technologists.
  • Must have current CRT license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Basic knowledge of EKG recognition and interpretation. Knowledge of film quality control standards. Ability to understand and practice aseptic technique.
  • Complete annual safety training.
  • Complete and maintain department specific training.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry.
