We're looking for a Lead Certified Medical Assistant who not only excels in clinical skills but also inspires and guides their colleagues with warmth and professionalism.

 

As our Lead CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), you'll be the go-to person for both patients and your fellow team members. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a consistently bright and welcoming atmosphere. Your days will be a fulfilling blend of hands-on patient care and empowering leadership, including:

  • Setting the gold standard for clinical excellence, patient experience, and teamwork. 
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to our team. You'll serve as a resource for questions, and foster a positive, collaborative learning environment.
  • Collaborating with providers and front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow, efficient scheduling, and timely appointment preparation.
  • Warmly greeting patients, preparing them for examinations, and skillfully performing vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures.
  • Assisting providers during examinations, managing medical supplies, maintaining pristine exam rooms, and accurately documenting patient information in our EMR system.
  • Facilitating clear and effective communication between patients, providers, and our medical assistant team.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA) Required
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
