The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting with organizing, planning, leading, and directing clinical and management activities for the designated nursing unit. The Nurse Supervisor contributes to organizational operations.
The Nurse Supervisor is accountable for daily supervision of patient/nursing care delivery. The Nurse Supervisor participates as a member of the health care team in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care.
This position reports to the departmental Nursing Director.

Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
BSN required from an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
Two years in charge or leadership position within last five years in a hospital setting. Five years recent nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
ACLS required within 6 months
Specialty certification required within 6 months
Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
