Responsibilities

Echocardiography Technologist – Community Hospital of San Bernardino

Community Hospital of San Bernardino is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist – Per Diem to support the day-to-day clinical operations and quality assurance of our Echocardiology Services. This position plays a vital role in providing accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform high-quality echocardiograms and diagnostic studies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure daily operations of echocardiography services meet clinical and quality standards
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance activities and contribute to process improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of independent experience performing neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric echocardiograms with spectral and color flow Doppler in an acute health care setting is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience performing stress echocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and Holter monitors scans and electrocardiograms is preferred. 
  • Registry or Registry eligible with ARDMS 
  • RDMS/RDCS is preferred.
