We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and innovative System Vice President of Communications, to lead the corporate communications strategy across a national healthcare organization. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and storyteller with a creative edge, who possesses a deep understanding of communications and media relations. This system leader effectively uses communications and PR/media strategies to enhance culture, employee engagement, change management, external reputation, and community perception.
The Communications VP will play a critical role leading our public image, fostering meaningful connections with our customers, communities, and stakeholders, and managing our reputation. This role requires a seasoned Communications executive, with experience leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams, and an ability to approach communications in new ways for healthcare. It is a primary responsibility of this leader to mentor, guide and motivate the communications resources throughout CommonSpirit in achieving business outcomes through effective communications strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of communications, a service orientation, and a proven track record of delivering impactful results internally and externally to an organization. The role requires a leader of leaders, with experience and comfort interacting with and counseling all levels of a complex organization, including boards, executive teams, direct reports and stakeholders.
