Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) driven by the desire to help individuals regain independence and achieve their fullest potential?

We're seeking a dedicated and skilled COTA to join our dynamic therapy team, working directly under the guidance of our Therapy Supervisor. In this vital role, you won't just be administering treatments; you'll be a key player in a patient's journey to recovery, empowering them toward a maximal level of function and independence.


What You'll Do & How You'll Make a Difference:

  • Provide impactful, hands-on direct patient care, implementing treatment plans that truly transform lives.
  • Collaborate closely with our Occupational Therapists to assess progress, adapt strategies, and ensure the most effective care journey.
  • Conduct essential client tests and measurements, providing objective data that guides treatment and celebrates progress.
  • Educate and empower patients and their families, providing them with the tools and knowledge for lasting success.
  • Be a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, actively participating in patient care rounds and fostering seamless communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, ensuring accurate records and billing while advocating for continued skilled care.
  • Act as a frontline responder in medical emergencies, ensuring patient safety is always paramount.

Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri Days

Job Requirements

We're Looking For:

  • A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current and active Occupational Therapy Assistant license issued by the State of Oregon.
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to connect effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • A team player who thrives on collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Clinical experience in a broad-based rehabilitation facility is a strong plus!
