Responsibilities

Our Food Nutrition Driver operates a 26,000-pound truck or larger to ensure timely transportation of deliveries across regional campuses. You will be delivering and picking up patient meals and dining center carts, verifying cart contents for accuracy, unloading large food transfers, and adhering to proper storage and equipment handling procedures. At the same time, maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety, reports unsafe conditions or equipment, and contributes to a positive, high-morale work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Makes predetermined routine trips and other trips as assigned.
  • Follows courier routes to ensure reliable service.
  • Ensures that supply or equipment requests are completed and delivered; informs management of any damaged equipment, supplies, or unsafe act.
  • Ensures that all mail and deposits are delivered to a secure area as identified and confidentiality is maintained in the process.
  • Stores and transports specimens in appropriate temperature containers; informs management of unusual or jeopardized specimens.
  • Maintains daily written reports on multiple forms and checks all equipment for serviceability daily; informs management immediately of unsafe equipment.
  • Ensures that assigned vehicle is cleaned, refueled, and maintenance is current; informs engineering department of deficiency or requirement maintenance/repair.
  • Abides by all traffic laws.

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AZ Drivers License
  • A Food Handlers Permit Within 30-days of Hire
