Responsibilities

As our Navigator RN at St. Vincent Radiology West Clinic, you will help patients navigate their healthcare journey, reduce barriers to care, and coordinate diagnostic and treatment efforts so they can receive prompt access to comprehensive and individualized care.

 

Every day you will perform clinical assessments, educate patients on disease processes and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You will be expected to apply the nursing process and champion a patient- and family-centered care environment. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient advocacy.

 

  • Provides individualized and comprehensive care to a population of patients, reducing barriers and coordinating diagnostic/treatment efforts.
  • Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams, ensures continuity of care, and fosters an exceptional patient experience.
  • Patients receive holistic support, education on disease processes, and timely access to care, leading to reduced barriers and improved outcomes throughout their continuum of care. Successfully prioritizes and triages patient communications and requests, ensuring timely follow-up. Reviews fall assessment risk and implements safety interventions.

Qualifications

  • Associate of Nursing (ADN) in Nursing
  • 1-3 Years Of Experience in Direct Patient Care
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
