Responsibilities

Sign On Bonus Available! Virginia Mason Medical Center, recognized among the Best Hospitals in Washington state by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our brand-new part-time opening in our Federal Way Adult Primary Care Clinic. We offer a competitive salary and a supportive work environment. We are looking for RNs to commit to 20-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities to include: 

 

• Coordinate and facilitate quality management for a diverse outpatient population across the continuum of care.
• Provide skilled triage and assessment, patient education, and collaborate with healthcare and community resources.
• Support the care team in the provision of comprehensive patient care.
• Offer expert patient advice and guidance.
• Assist in prioritizing daily clinic workflow.
• Provide direction and oversight to team members, including Medical Assistants, ensuring clinical competency.

Qualifications

We require:

  • Current WA State RN license is required. 
  • 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work. - Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements
